Fuel systems vary with aircraft based on their size and structure. Modern-day aircraft with multi-engines are equipped with multiple fuel tanks. These tanks are located mostly in the wings and sometimes in the fuselage of large aircraft. The fuel system consists of fuel tanks, pumps, and valves, fuel metering devices, and filters and ensures that the fuel is supplied at the correct pressure and flow rate for the engine to operate properly in each stage of flight.
