In electronics, a data converter is integrated into the devices to convert the signal. Data converters convert two types of signals, namely analog and digital signals. The data converters help to enhance the processing and data transmission of the signals. For instance, computer hardware consists of a data converter, which converts the data into 0s and 1s, so that the operating system can understand the user data.

There are two types of data conversions. They are:
