Invoice Factoring Procurement in the US
This report is intended to assist buyers of invoice factoring, also called accounts receivable factoring or non-recourse factoring. Invoice factoring providers purchase current accounts receivable at a discount from buyers and then collect the outstanding debt. The main purpose of this service is to provide immediate liquidity for buyers that need to increase short-term cash flow. Companies of all sizes in a range of markets, including transportation, retail, staffing, construction and technology, commonly use invoice factoring. Providers are either specialized invoice factoring firms or more diversified financial services companies. This report excludes debt collection and invoice discounting (known as recourse factoring).
