Infrared Cameras Procurement in the US

This report is intended to assist buyers of infrared cameras. Infrared cameras, also known as thermographic cameras or IR cameras, are used to detect infrared radiation (which is commonly emitted in the form of heat and would be otherwise invisible to the naked eye) and transmit it into a thermal image that can be analyzed by the end-user. Infrared cameras are used extensively for research and development, security, law enforcement and building inspections. For instance, infrared cameras are able to scan objects and identify potential problems, such as insulation leaks, in a noninvasive manner. These products are supplied by manufacturers that largely specialize in industrial test and measurement equipment, in addition to a host of distributors across a variety of sectors. This report excludes visible light cameras.
