The Asia Pacific region is witnessing a keenness among countries to develop offshore wind capacity. Taiwan recently announced plans to install a total of 5GW worth of offshore wind capacity. Japan is also looking to replace its nuclear capacity and is planning to install 6GW of offshore wind capacity.
