We will be looking at purchasing behaviour, motivations, media channels and brand preferences of highly affluent consumers when it comes to purchasing premium and luxury products and services.

Travel captures a large share of the affluent consumers share of wallet, varying from 21% to 32% depending on market. The 45+ demographic shows the highest spend overall on travel. Travel experiences/activities is the category likely to benefit the most from increasing spending on travel in the region.

Shopping and sightseeing remain the favourite travel activities for Hong Kong, Singapore and Indian respondents. In China, shopping as a reason to travel becomes less important, with amusement parks and city tours topping preferred travel activities.
