The acoustic disdrometer sensor measures rainfall, through the size and number of drops, fall on Pulsepod. The net radiometer sensor is used to determine the number of sunlight plants is receiving. It measures shortwave radiation that is directly coming from the sun and longwave radiation, which is reflected back by the plants. The device information is stored in the cloud via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or cellular, which enables farmers to access data via the Internet, for making a decision regarding watering, fertilizing, and many more.
