Mikhail I. Katsnelson is a professor of theoretical physics at Radboud University. He is a recipient of the Spinoza Prize and the Hamburg Prize for Theoretical Physics. He is an elected member of the Academia Europaea, the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Royal Society of Sciences at Uppsala, and is a knight of the Order of the Netherlands Lion.
