South Korea Vaping Regulatory Report

  • ID: 5019042
  • Report
  • April 2020
  • Region: South Korea
  • 10 Pages
  • ECigIntelligence

Currently, nicotine-containing e-liquid is considered to be a tobacco product and is therefore regulated in the same way as smoking. That said, following the outbreak of the lung diseases in the US in 2019, South Korea has been seeking to further restrict e-cigarettes, and there are a number of bills relating to new regulations that would increase restrictions.

This report not only outlines the current regulations for e-cigarettes – taking into account all aspects including product restrictions, enforcement, and labelling and packaging, to name but a few – but also discusses the possible future regulations that are on the horizon.
