Q1/2020, Vietnam continues to grow cashew kernel exports, with a target of 450 thousand tons in 2020. Despite the complicated disease situation, but in the context of India's cashew market stalled, Vietnam's kernel is benefiting. However, due to the effect of the Covid-19 epidemic, the decline in cashew consumption and the interruption of trade, the sharp decline in cashew prices caused the export value to rise very low compared to the export volume. The volume of raw cashew imports has fallen sharply due to the limited supply from West African countries, making Vietnam's cashew industry in serious shortage of raw materials.
