- Pre-school children spend an average of 2.2 hours a day watching TV, with viewing peaking in the early morning - 67% watch TV before 9am - One in five children aged 0-4 access the Internet, and 30% use a games console - Four in ten pre-schoolers go swimming - 20% of 0-4s can write their own name, whilst 31% can use a computer mouse
