Nadroparin is a hematological drug used to treat and prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). It is a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) derived from porcine intestinal mucosa. It is administered subcutaneously and is used in the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders. It is also used to reduce the risk of recurrent DVT and PE in patients who have already had an episode. Nadroparin is a cost-effective alternative to unfractionated heparin (UFH) and is used in a variety of clinical settings.
Nadroparin is available in a variety of brands, including Fragmin, Innohep, and Lovenox. These brands are manufactured by companies such as Pfizer, Sanofi, and Leo Pharma. Show Less Read more
