When you have found a product that you are interested in there is an option on the right hand side to "Email Us". If you have any queries regarding content of this product you can contact our Customer Service Dept. by filling in this form with the relevant details and sending your inquiry. A member of our Customer Service Dept. will respond to you via our Customer Service System – you will be able to view our reply by clicking on the "Our reply" link sent to you in an email from firstname.lastname@example.org when a reply to your inquiry has been prepared.

Sample availability varies from product to product. In many cases samples are available from a product’s product page after you login, or we can refer for these. Simply contact us as per Section 1.4 above if you would like to request a sample from a specific product and we can check if one is available.

If you require a proforma invoice, you can generate this (along with an order form) from each product page on our website by clicking the "Request Proforma Invoice" option underneath the "Add to Basket" option at the right hand side of the product page, and entering the requested details. Once generated, the proforma invoice and order form will be emailed to you. You can then complete and return the order form to place your order.
If you register with Research and Markets you will be able to avail of our free "New Arrivals" Notification Service. The "New Arrivals" service allows you to be the first to know about new products in your market. Upon registration you are provided with an account which will enable you to access all your recently viewed categories and products for easy reference, as well as place orders online.

The next time you visit Research and Markets you can log in with the details you created at registration by selecting the link to "Login/Register" from the top list of tabs on our website. Enter the email address and password that you provided at registration to login to our site
Upon registering with Research and Markets you will be provided with a "My Research" Account. This account provides links to the categories that you have recently browsed through and links to the 20 most recent products that you have viewed. This useful facility enables you to access all your recently viewed research so you can easily return to products and categories that were of interest to you. To access your account, please login to our site. You can login to our site by selecting the link to Login/Register from the top list of tabs on our website.
It is easy to update or amend the details that you have provided us with. Once you have logged in to our site you can select the "Edit My Contact Information" or to "Edit My Category Email Subscriptions" links where you can amend your details if necessary.
If you have forgotten your password please select the "Forgot your Login?" link on the login page and your password will be emailed to the email address provided during registration.
All the products on Research and Markets are assigned to categories in order to make it easier to find products relevant to your area of interest. Our home page contains a "Categories" tab, as well as a category listing from which you can view and choose from the top-level categories to which products have been allocated.
There is a search bar located near the top of most pages on our website. Enter the product name, product ID or topic (for example: Wine in Spain) you wish to search for. You can use the category dropdown beside the search bar to restrict searches to that category only.You can run the search by then clicking the "Search" button.
A search may return many results. To enable you to narrow down search results to the products that are of most relevance to you Research and Markets offers a "Product Filter" feature on the left hand side where you can narrow down results by category, price, age and product type. Simply click the radio or checkbox buttons that most apply to your requirements and our site will automatically refresh your search results.
To run a quick search, enter the keywords for which you wish to search. By default, quick search will return documents which have all of the words you have queried (an automatic "AND" search).
Higher relevance will also be given to those documents where your search terms appear a greater number of times but for best results choose keywords wisely.
Entering a full product name such as Fuel Cells For Vehicles Market Opportunities and Forecasts, 2005 to 2011 may not ensure that the product will appear top of the results because the word "and" in the product alters the way the search is processed. Entering "Fuel Cells For Vehicles Market" in quotes will rank the product higher.
By default, our search returns documents that include all of your search terms. There is no need to include "AND" between terms. The order in which the terms are typed will affect the search results.
You can search for a phrase by typing the keywords in quotation marks (""). For example, typing "Fuel Cells" will only return documents that contain this phrase.
Different products on our site are available in different formats. The list of formats a product is available in can be seen on the right hand side of each product page. You can hover your mouse pointer over the question mark (?) symbol beside each format to view more details on that format. You can also view more details on format/license types by clicking the "Formats & Delivery" tab on each product page. Some typical format/license options offered are:
Electronic: This product will typically be emailed to you as an attachment, or downloaded from a link sent in an email after receipt of your order and payment. Electronic copy products are typically in PDF format but may also be in Excel, Word, PowerPoint or Access formats. The format that a product is available in is typically specified on that product’s product page. There are various licences available in electronic format.
Single User Licence: Allows one person, typically the buyer, to have access to the ordered product. The ordered product cannot be distributed to anyone else.
1-5 User Licence: Allows the ordered product to be shared among a maximum of 5 people within your organisation.
1-10 User Licence:Allows the ordered product to be shared among a maximum of 10 people within your organisation.
1-15 User Licence: Allows the ordered product to be shared among a maximum of 15 people within your organisation.
Site Licence: Typically allows the ordered product to be shared among employees of your organisation at one location only.
Enterprisewide Licence: Allows the product to be shared among all employees of your organisation regardless of their geographical location.
Online Access: The details of your online access will be emailed to you after receipt of your order and payment.
Hard Copy: This product will be shipped to you in either hard or soft cover format after receipt of your order and payment.
CD-ROM: This product will be shipped to you in the form of a CD-ROM disc after receipt of your order and payment.
Map Rolled: A map, rolled and shipped to you after receipt of your order and payment.
Map Folded: A map, folded and shipped to you after receipt of your order and payment.
Map Digital: A map, in Electronic format, typically emailed to you after receipt of your order and payment.
There are four ordering methods available:
Order Online: This is the quickest method of placing your order with us. From our product pages, simply select the format of the product you wish to order on the right hand side of the screen, and then click the "Add to Basket" button underneath to add that format option to your Shopping Basket. Our website will forward you to your Shopping Basket screen from which you can check out, or continue shopping.
How do I add an item to my Basket?
You can add an item to your Basket from the right hand side of its product page. First click the radio button beside the format option you wish to order, and then click the "Add to Basket" button below this to add that option to your Basket.
How do I access my Shopping Basket?
When you have completed adding products to your basket you can review all the contents by clicking the Checkout button on the top right of our website.
How do I edit the contents of the Basket?
On your Shopping Basket screen you can amend the quantity of a product you wish to purchase by selecting the required number from the quantity drop down beside near the left of the Shopping Basket screen, or remove a product by clicking the "Remove" link.
What is the checkout process?
Once you are satisfied that you have all the products you require in your Basket, click the "Proceed to Secure Checkout" button on your Shopping Basket screen to begin checking out. If you are not a registered user, you will have to register at this time, to provide your billing address and delivery address (if applicable). You can then choose your payment method and confirm your order.
Order by Fax: Fax order forms can be downloaded from our product pages by clicking on the "Order by Fax" link, on the right hand side of the screen.

Research and Markets is committed to making a secure, safe environment for all of your online transactions. Therefore sometimes it will be necessary for Research and Markets to request certain information from you on receiving an order. This information is requested so that we can confirm the cardholder authenticity. We use the information to verify that the cardholder is the person who is ordering the product. We would ask you to enter your business/professional email when placing your order, as well as full billing details, to ensure that we can process your order as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Research and Markets takes special steps to protect you and your credit card. When you place an order on our site all of the information which you provide is encrypted using SSL 128 Bit Encryption. This technology safeguards your personal information and guarantees privacy. As an additional security our online payment transactions use the CVV number (the last three digits on the signature strip of your credit or debit card) to guard against card fraud. We may, on occasion, phone or email the cardholder to confirm the transaction prior to dispatch. We also request that if possible a company email address is provided.
We offer a number of payment methods:
Credit card: This is the quickest payment method and ensures the fastest dispatch of your order. Research and Markets accepts VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, Diners Club and American Express. We will issue you with a receipt via email once your payment has been processed.
Wire transfer: After your order has been placed — either online,

CVV is an anti-fraud security feature to help verify that you are in possession of your credit card.
For VISA/MasterCard, the three-digit CVV number is printed on the signature panel on the back of the card immediately after the card’s account number For American Express, the four-digit CVV number is printed on the front of the card above the card account number.
After your order has been placed — either online, via fax or via post — an official invoice will be emailed to you if paying via wire transfer or company cheque.

We can of course issue you with both an invoice and receipt (once payment has been received) regardless of the payment method chosen if you wish.
Once your order has been placed and payment has been received our Orders Department will arrange for dispatch of your order.

We're afraid that we are unable to offer academic discounts on products, or provide complimentary copies of same. However, we can suggest that you approach one of the companies in the relevant Industry Sector and they may purchase the product for you as part of a sponsorship package.
Discounts may be granted on a case by case basis, depending on the specific products you wish to order. We're afraid that we sell products in their entirety only. We found that information in products could be taken out of context if we sold select sections from products.
To facilitate our clients, our site allows checkout in EUR, GBP or USD. Simply select your preferred currency from the currency drop down on our site before you begin to checkout to choose the currency you wish to be billed in. The currency drop down box is located beside the Shopping Basket icon on the top right of our homepage, and most pages on our site.
Orders originating outside of Ireland are not subject to tax. Non hard-copy orders originating in Ireland are subject to VAT of 23%. Research and Markets' VAT number is IE6346908N.
Due to the nature of the products we sell we're afraid that we are not able to arrange for dispatch of an order until payment has been received in full against that order.
Due to the nature of the products we sell (being information based they are essentially consumed as they are purchased and cannot easily be returned) we do not provide refunds for orders, or accept returns.
