The Asia Pacific Regenerative Agriculture Market should witness market growth of 15.2% CAGR during the forecast period (2023-2029).

Regenerative agriculture places a strong emphasis on biodiversity as a result of the recognition that the upkeep of healthy ecosystems depends on the presence of a diverse collection of organisms, including animals, plants, and microbes. By promoting biodiversity on farms, which helps provide habitat for wildlife, pollinators, and helpful insects, regenerative agriculture reduces the need for industrial pesticides and fertilizers, which aids in decreasing the environmental impact of farming. By adopting ethical and environmentally responsible farming practices, farmers can improve not only their own means of subsistence but also the long-term viability and resiliency of the agricultural system.

In regenerative farming practices, animal integration into crop production enhances soil fertility, helps manage weeds and pests by introducing biological enemies to undesirable species, and benefits cattle themselves because this regenerative agriculture method is more similar to wildlife settings than indoor breeding. Another practice in regenerative farming is perennial crops, which cover the soil and keep it in place with their deep roots to prevent wind and water erosion. They also store moisture and save agricultural costs by requiring less tilling and weed control measures. Agroforestry is a form of regenerative agriculture involving growing crops alongside trees or bushes with thick canopies and strong root systems and providing wind and rain protection for valuable plant species.

Natural farming, often known as traditional farming, uses no chemicals. It is regarded as an agroecology-based, varied farming system incorporating plants, animals, trees, and functional biodiversity. Through the "Bharatiya Prakritik Krishi Paddhati Programme" (BPKP), which is part of the government-sponsored "Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana" (PKVY) initiative, natural farming practices are promoted inside the borders of India. The BPKP aims to promote traditional indigenous techniques using less outside input. It is mostly predicated on biomass recycling inside the farm, focusing on biomass mulching, the use of cow dung-urine formulations within the farm, periodic soil aeration, and the avoidance of synthetic chemical inputs. According to the HLPE Report, smallholder farmers' debt loads will decrease as a result of natural farming because there will be less of a need for purchased inputs. Therefore, these initiatives are pushing the market forward.
