Overall, revenue is expected to drop at an average annual 2.2% over the five years through 2023-24, to $3.3 billion. The COVID-19 pandemic negatively affected the industry. Revenue fell over the two years through 2020-21, weakened in part by declining food service demand due to government COVID-19 restrictions.
