It is the representative of fresh grapes in Shandong Province and the first group of demonstration locations for the national grape industry system. Government Support

High-quality single-line varieties grow swiftly; in particular, the Sunshine Rose and Xiahei Seedless varieties of the Kyoho varieties, as well as Flame Seedless and Cresen and other seedless varieties, have seen a further increase in popularity due to their high quality, strong resistance, and good taste. Moreover, as per the Institute of Botany, CAS, 'Jingxiangyu' and 'Jingyan' were approved by China's National Forest Variety Approval Committee. The Grape and Wine Research Group (GWRG) of the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IBCAS) created both of these early-ripening table grape varieties.

Xinjiang region is expected to grow significantly

The favorable climatic conditions coupled with advanced techniques for agricultural production will continue to boost the grape production of Xinjiang province till the forecast period, thereby propelling the market growth. Furthermore, according to estimates from USDA, the domestic consumption of table grapes in China increased from around 11, 810 metric tons in 2021 to around 12, 395 by the year 2022.
