New Report Released: – Facility Management Services Market in MEA 2016-2020

The author of the report recognizes the following companies as the key players in the facilities management market in MEA: Emrill Integrated Facilities Management, Macro, Imdaad, Farnek, Saudi Oger, Reliance FM, and Etisalat Facilities Management

Commenting on the report, an analyst from the research team said: “The role of technology is constantly evolving in the delivery of FM services. Vendors need to harness the power of cutting-edge technologies in delivering an efficient and time and cost-effective services to end users. Several new technologies have embraced the FM services industry of late. Smart security surveillance systems, intelligent energy saving solutions, smart building management systems, and advanced robotics are some examples of modern technology that are boosting the new level of services. These advanced communication systems have enabled optimizing information, upscaling the level of operations, and enhancing services delivery to end-users.”

According to the report, the infrastructure sector in the Middle East is likely to grow rapidly, owing to several mega-scale projects planned during the forecast period. In 2015, the total construction projects of GCC alone was valued to be $172 billion. Another $2.8 trillion worth projects are already in progress or in the planning stage.

Further, the report states that the demand for professionals that have long-standing expertise in dealing with projects in niche areas is high. On the contrary, the availability of such professionals in the country is fewer than required. The unskilled manpower switches jobs for better payments. Hence, controlling staff attrition at that level is also a big challenge. FM services employ both skilled as well as unskilled manpower. However, attrition is significantly high in the soft services sector, and so vendors face shortage due to high demand for soft services that demand more unskilled manpower.

The study was conducted using an objective combination of primary and secondary information including inputs from key participants in the industry. The report contains a comprehensive market and vendor landscape in addition to a SWOT analysis of the key vendors.
