The Management Consulting industry was established in China more than two decades ago. However, the industry is still on a small scale compared with equivalent industries in many other countries. Although many traditional Chinese theories exist on management philosophy, they have not generally been applied to businesses. Marketing, rather than business management, initially prompted the establishment of consulting firms in China. Companies began to actively absorb marketing and management theories from the West once they realized that large profits could be generated through effective marketing and management consulting services.
Firms in the Management Consulting industry provide business and management consulting, enterprise management consulting, social and economic consulting, public relations consulting, and planning and designing. Consulting activities based on market investigation and statistics are not included in the industry.
This report covers the scope, size, disposition and growth of the industry including the key sensitivities and success factors. Also included are five year industry forecasts, growth rates and an analysis of the industry key players and their market shares.
