About Automotive Radiator Fan

Radiators are used for transferring thermal energy from one medium to another to cool the engine. A radiator is used for cooling an engine, and it transfers the heat to the environment. It varies in size, style, and purpose. A device in which liquid circulates through exposed pipes for cooling the engine is known as a radiator. In electric devices that are compact and have a smaller size, dispersion of heat becomes more difficult. It is widely used in automobiles, aircrafts, space crafts, and buildings.

The main purpose of an automotive radiator is heat exchange for cooling the internal combustion (IC) engine. During the combustion process in an automobile, heat is generated as a by-product. The heat generated by the IC engine is disseminated from the system using a radiator. The automotive radiator fan is used for cooling the radiator present in the IC engine system of the automobile. It prevents the overheating of the automobile. It is also responsible for proper functioning of various components by disseminating heat away from the engine. To reduce the heat generated by the engine, a coolant is passed through the engine and the tubes of the radiator, and the excess heat is removed by using an automotive radiator fan.
