The report finds that the Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturing industry comprising mainly of foundry, DRAM, flash memory, and IDM sectors grew sequentially and year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2017. The share of high-end memory ICs fabricated using advanced process reached approximately 55% in the fourth quarter. The industry's shipment value is projected to have totaled approximately USD 42.3 billion in 2017, up 2.7% year-on-year.
