The studies focus on the replacement of heating systems/components and the refurbishment of bathrooms in Germany. The aim of the study is to analyse the market for renovation and refurbishment in order to learn more about the building parts that were renovated, the reasoning and product preferences of builders, as well as to understand the drivers that influence the market. Detailed insights on budgets, installed heating systems, brands, etc. are provided.
Data collection is based on:
a.) on an online survey of more than 1.000 builders / private households per country that carried out renovation and maintenance projects in 2020.
b.) on expert interviews with architects, craftsmen and construction companies.
