    Report

  • January 2019
  • Region: United States
  • iData Research
  • ID: 4756762
The personal market is set to increase as more Americans adopt blood pressure monitoring practices. Both markets will continue to see an increase in digital sphygmomanometer sales, as aneroid kits are primarily purchased by medical schools, school boards, fitness professionals and some physician offices. Even then, the ease of use and attraction of digital devices is gaining popularity amongst the medical professional community.

Abnormal blood pressure levels are characterized by levels that are too high or too low. Hypertension refers to instances where an individual’s blood pressure is more elevated than “normal.” Hypotension refers to instances where the individual’s blood pressure is lower than “normal.” Both conditions may result in further health complications. For most individuals, healthy blood pressure ranges from 110/70 mmHg to 130/90 mmHg.
