The market share of flexible elastomeric foam in thermal applications is supported by a mandatory wrap requirement, as stipulated by U.S. and European energy codes. In contrast, its use in acoustic applications is influenced more by voluntary Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credits and tenant expectations.
