According to ITC Trade Map data, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Russia, and Hong Kong are leading importers of lime from South Africa with an import value share of 13.1%, 11.2%, 10.9%, 7.9%, and 7.7% in 2019. These five countries collectively imported USD 140 million worth of lime. Owing to the increasing global consumer demand, the exports are anticipated to rise in the coming years.
