  • Borealis and Paper Republic have teamed up in a social business initiative called mask republic to produce sustainable and reusable face masks
  • Freudenberg Performance Materials is partnering with North Carolina State University (NC State) in the manufacture of face masks
  • Sateri has entered China’s lyocell fibre market in partnership with Asia Symbol
  • Teijin Carbon Europe and the UK’s National Composites Centre (NCC) have strengthened their partnership by focusing on carbon fibre composites

4. MARKETS

  • Smithers has forecast that there will be a slowdown in growth in the global market for wetlaid nonwovens between 2020 and 2025
