Many new technologies like Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) are largely used to improve the efficiency of the airport baggage handling process. Usage of technology aid to streamline the BHS process and provide a better experience to the travelers. There is increasing use of mobile devices seen for the baggage tracking process. Moreover, the passengers are provided with the option of self-service baggage processing.
