The report confirms that China continued to be the world's largest producer and exporter of textiles and clothing in 2020 and its share of world textile and clothing exports rose. In Hong Kong, meanwhile, domestic exports and re-exports of textiles and clothing fell sharply. Also, there were falls in textile and clothing exports from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, and there were falls in production.
