This is the third printed edition of this map for Britain. This map has its focus sites of companies inspected or approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the American Food and Drink Administration (FDA) and the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory (MHRA). All sites on this map have Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) status.
The map includes pharmaceutical and support companies working in the Human and Veterinary medicines areas and includes companies working in the naturals, nutritional and excipients areas. The map shows the location and company name for each company. A specifically designed symbol indicates company type and a further set of symbols indicate the type of activities the company is involved in.
