• In 2020, XCMG in partnership with Sichuan Railway Investment Group and Tsinghua University together developed self-driving road roller equipped with real-time monitoring system and various safety measures. The system with the help of a remote monitoring data center first identifies the optimal route and process and sends the instruction to onboard control system, thereby enabling the road roller to operate autonomously in complex conditions
