The North America Ultra-low-power Microcontroller Market is expected to witness market growth of 9.1% CAGR during the forecast period (2021 2027).

To offer a robust and secure platform for consumer, industrial, and other devices, major ultra-low-power microcontroller market players are taking essential efforts to enhance intelligence and security via IoT embedded devices. Moreover, STMicroelectronics, a leading worldwide semiconductor supplier, introduced the STM32L5 x 2 families of ultra-low-power microcontrollers (MCUs) in March 2020, with the goal of improving security for IoT - powered applications. STM32L5 MCUs have a clock frequency of up to 110MHz and are based on an ARM Cortex-M33 32-bit RISC CPU core with built-in Arm Trust Zone hardware security technology.

Each I/O pin, peripheral, flash, or SRAM storage space can be added or removed with this device. STMicroelectronics' TrustZone technology enables safe boot and encryption method acceleration, including AES128/256-bit key hardware acceleration. STM32L5 also has PSA Level 2 certification and offers active tamper monitoring and secure firmware installation. The STM32L5 x2 MCU has 256KB SRAM for enabling high-speed external memory and 512KB dual-zone flash memory for convenient simultaneous read and writes operations, as well as error correction code. The device features adaptive voltage management, real-time acceleration, power gating, and the ability to power MCUs from a coil cell battery, resulting in extended battery life.

The ultra-low power microcontroller market in North America is expected to develop at a stable rate in the coming years. The ever-increasing trend of sensing and measuring automation in the civilian as well as several other industrial sectors can be credited to the rise of the ultra-low power microcontroller market across the region. In addition, according to the American Automakers, in 2018, the United States exported $142 billion in automobiles and parts, with motor vehicles accounting for $53.2 billion and auto parts accounting for $88.5 billion, more than any other economic sector in the country. Despite this achievement, the US automobile industry still has space to enhance its export record, with one out of every five vehicles manufactured in the country being exported.

The US market dominated the North America Ultra-low-power Microcontroller Market by Country in 2020, and is expected to continue to be a dominant market till 2027; thereby, achieving a market value of $1,535.5 million by 2027. The Canada market is poised to grow at a CAGR of 11.6% during (2021 - 2027). Additionally, The Mexico market is expected to showcase a CAGR of 10.6% during (2021 - 2027).
