A UPS not only helps to clean up the energy flow by ensuring that faults like outbursts don't affect equipment, but it also supplies power to a variety of breakers. In a typical data center, no more than 7 - 8 servers are linked to a single breaker. However, this number varies depending on the breaker's capacity and the server's efficiency. In the event of a power outage or other problem, UPS systems can also function as an initial backup. A basic UPS can power breakers and servers for up to five minutes, giving an ample time to start a backup generator in the event of a power loss or other problem with the large electric systems.

The effectiveness of data center power use is evaluated in units of Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE). PUE is a limited-focus design that measures total facility electricity divided by IT equipment power in real-time and over time or a measurement of energy waste flowing to non-IT equipment functions. The optimal PUE is 1.0, which represents 100% performance, for example, all the utilized energy is used on IT equipment only. However, it is very hard to achieve. Power distribution units (PDUs) give power to remote power panels, which then deliver power to racks through whips, a power cable routed beneath a raised floor. These implementations are well-known and portray a lower risk for the design engineer and electrical contractor.

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) ensures a high-quality healthcare system in Dubai by establishing and enforcing healthcare policies and strategies in both private and public hospitals and clinics. DHA works to protect public health and improve quality of life by developing a health strategy for Dubai that fulfills future needs, ensuring collaborations between public and private health service providers, licensing and regulating the Dubai Health Sector, and striving to improve the emirate's healthcare system's transparency and accountability. The aim of this strategy is to always comply with the values of protection, quality, patient rights, clinical competence, and safety of patients. Moreover, this initiative is expected to also promise a future to patients, in which, their families and close ones who live in Dubai is expected to have the access to the best-in-class medical support at any time.

The Dubai Health Authority intends to reform the medical sector in Dubai, according to the Dubai Health Strategy, which was issued in October 2011, to ensure that everyone has quick, inexpensive, and convenient access to healthcare services. Further, this strategy is expected to ensure that both Emiratis and expatriates can afford healthcare
