The modern method of irrigation, or the micro irrigation system, is the system by which the water is irrigated through drippers, sprinklers, foggers, etc. Micro irrigation is a low-pressure, low-flow-rate type of irrigation that is used to reduce the likelihood of overwatering a landscape. This form of irrigation delivers water directly to the required place. The micro irrigation system is filled up with many types of irrigation systems, namely drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation systems, and the bubbler irrigation system. The micro irrigation system is fruitful in saving water and increasing water use efficiency as compared to the conventional surface irrigation method. Other than that, it helps reduce water consumption, growth of unwanted plants (weeds), soil erosion, and the cost of cultivation.
