Vitamin C is a polyhydroxy compound widely found in vegetables and fruits, and is one of the largest vitamin species in the world in terms of production and sales. Among them, the U.S. is the largest destination for China's vitamin C exports. In 2021, China exported 42 thousand tons of vitamin C to the U.S., accounting for 21.26% of the total vitamin C exports that year, with an export value of US$190 million, accounting for 20.17% of the total export value.

In recent years, China has become a major global producer and exporter of vitamin C. The publisher expectsthe global vitamin C vegetarian market size to continue to grow from 2023-2032, helping to boost China's vitamin export volume.
