Managed and Professional Security Services in Asia-Pacific, 2022: Frost Radar Report

  • Report

  • 40 Pages
  • December 2022
  • Region: Asia Pacific
  • Frost & Sullivan
  • ID: 5724217

Across Asia-Pacific (APAC), digital transformation has led to a surge in the adoption of emerging technologies such as cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), and web-based applications among companies from diverse verticals looking to improve efficiency across every area of business operation. However, as technology adoption rates accelerate, organizations’ IT infrastructure becomes more complex and the threat landscape grows both wider and more sophisticated, making security increasingly difficult to manage. This leaves organizations vulnerable to cyberattacks. As such, organizations’ in-house security teams no longer have the skillsets needed to adequately secure their increasingly complex IT infrastructure while simultaneously working to monitor and manage their security operations. Asking them to do so is risky.

The combination of a wider threat landscape, increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, and the lack of qualified security professionals forces organizations to engage with cybersecurity service providers to help tackle these challenges. By outsourcing their security operations, organizations gain access to wide-ranging managed security services (MSS) and professional security services (PSS) such as 24x7x365 security monitoring, threat management, incident response and compliance management, and deep cybersecurity insights from a strong pool of cybersecurity professionals.

In this Frost Radar™, Frost & Sullivan shortlisted and assessed the top 14 cybersecurity service providers from a pool of more than 60 competitors based on the following selection criteria:

  • Have annual revenue of at least $40.0 million in 2021
  • Have at least 1.0% share of total APAC market
  • Qualify as a cybersecurity service provider with more than 80% of total revenue coming from one sub-region (ANZ, ASEAN, GCR, India, South Korea, Japan)
  • Must be among top 3 cybersecurity service providers in that sub-region
  • Must have at least 10% of market share in that sub-region

The Frost Radar reveals the market positioning of companies in an industry using their Growth and Innovation scores as highlighted in the Frost Radar methodology. The document presents competitive profiles of each company in the Frost Radar based on its strengths, opportunities, and a small discussion on its positioning. Industry leaders on both the Growth and Innovation indices are recognized as best practice recipients.
