According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, the construction industry’s value-add grew by 13.3% year on year (YoY) in Q4 2025, preceded by Y-o-Y growth rates of 20.2% in Q3 and 10.7% in Q2 2025. According to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, the total volume of foreign investment utilized in Uzbekistan reached UZS546.6 trillion ($43.1 billion) in 2025, a 24% growth compared to the previous year.

In December 2025, the country’s President announced that the government started the construction of 42 new generation, storage, and production facilities worth a total of UZS139.5 trillion ($11 billion), which is a part of a nationwide strategy to strengthen the country’s energy system. These projects include 16 solar, wind, thermal, and hydroelectric power plants worth UZS41.9 trillion ($3.3 billion) and with a combined capacity of 3,500MW, located in Karakalpakstan, and the Bukhara, Kashkadarya, and Tashkent regions.
