Manuel Cardona Research Director, Universidad Don Bosco, El Salvador. Manuel Cardona is the research director at Universidad Don Bosco, in El Salvador. He is a consultant for several companies on issues of innovation, automation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and electronic signature. He has authored more than 55 scientific articles and more than 180 conferences and five books. Dr. Cardona is also a reviewer for JCR specialized journals such as: Neural Computing and Applications (Springer), IEEE Sensors, Journal of Engineering and Science in Medical Diagnostics and Therapy (ASME), Journal of Mechanisms and Robotics (ASME), and International Journal of Smart Sensor Technologies and Applications, among others. His research areas include rehabilitation robotics, serial and parallel robot kinematics and dynamics, internet of things, smart cities, computer vision, artificial intelligence, industry 4.0, digital transformation, disruptive technologies and robotic systems applications. He is an IEEE Senior Member and the IEEE El Salvador Section Chair.
