Clinton Aigbavboa Full Professor, Department of Construction Management and Quantity Surveying, Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, University of Johannesburg, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.Clinton Aigbavboa is a Professor of Sustainable Human Development and also the Director of the CIDB Centre of Excellence and Sustainable Human Settlement and Construction Research at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He holds a PhD in Engineering Management and, before his academic career began, he was a quantity surveyor for infrastructural projects in Nigeria and South Africa. He has published extensively in the areas of housing, construction, and engineering management, as well as research methodology for construction students. He is currently the Editor of the Journal of Construction Project Management and Innovation (accredited by the Department of Higher Education and Training of South Africa) and has received national and international recognition in his field of research.
Ernest Kissi Post-doc Research Fellow, Dept. of Construction Management and Quantity Surveying, Faculty of Engineering & the Built Environment, University of Johannesburg, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa; Lecturer, Dept. of Construction Technology and Management, College of Art and Built Environment, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. Ernest Kissi holds a Senior Lecturer position at the Dept. of Construction Technology and Management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, and is also a Senior Research Associate at the Department of Construction Management & Quantity Surveying, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. While completing his post-doc fellowship at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, he was a visiting scholar in Germany funded by DAAD. His research interests focus specifically on construction economics, project procurement and management, and technical education for sustainable development and social well-being. He is a member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS), Ghana Institution of Construction (GIOC), Institution of Incorporated Engineers (IIE), International Society for Development and Sustainability (MISDS), and an incorporated member of the Chartered Institute of Builders (ICIOB). He is also a practicing quantity surveyor who has been involved in a number of construction projects all over Ghana.
