Earphones are an audio device that converts audio signals into audible sounds for personal listening. So far, the global earphone market demand continues to grow, and the shift from traditional wired to smart wireless, with a significant trend of multi-scenario, multi-function and high-end. According to the publisher's analysis, wireless earphones, especially true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, are becoming the main driving force for market growth. Consumer preference for true wireless stereo (TWS) and noise reduction technology has driven the rapid growth of the TWS earphone market, with particularly strong demand in the Asia-Pacific region, North America and India. According to the publisher's analysis, leading OEM/ODM manufacturers such as Apple's OEM GoerTek and Luxshare have already established multiple production bases in northern Vietnam and are continuously expanding their production capacity to meet the growing global demand.

Vietnam's earphone production is mainly concentrated in northern provinces, such as Bac Giang, Bac Ninh and Hai Phong industrial parks. These regions have a mature electronic industry chain and abundant technical resources, so that everything from driver unit assembly, PCBA patch to shell injection molding can be completed locally. At present, Vietnam has built a complete earphone manufacturing system from parts to complete machines, and its production capacity in the field of wireless earphones has increased rapidly.

In addition, according to the publisher's analysis, Vietnam has become an important hub for global earphone (including earphone and earplug combination) exports in recent years. According to the publisher's data, Vietnam's earphone exports in 2024 have exceeded approximately US$6 billion, and its main export markets include the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, South Korea and Italy.

Among them, the United States is Vietnam's largest export destination, accounting for about 50%. The rapid growth of Vietnam's earphone exports is due to the increasingly complete industrial chain, the improvement of localized production capacity, and the strong demand for high-end true wireless (TWS) and smart noise reduction products.

The publisher predicts that with the improvement of upstream and downstream supporting facilities of Vietnam's electronics industry, the continuous improvement of local production capacity and the accelerated transfer of supply chains of large companies such as Apple, Vietnam is expected to become a very important global earphone production base, especially TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earphone production base.
