The analyst’s latest mine-site technology adoption survey shows a higher degree of investment in mine planning & scheduling software versus mine management software. Some 61% had already fully implemented or considerably invested in the former, while 47% had done so for mine management software.
Across the 874 mines tracked where mine planning and management software providers were known, the most popular suppliers were Datamine, Dassault Systemes and Autodesk, with 41% of mines using the former and 36% using Dassault Systemes. Bentley Systems, Maptek, Deswik and Hexagon came close behind from fourth to seventh, all present at over 20% of mines.
