FSR was the largest channel in New Zealand in 2024, accounting for 35.7% of total sales, followed by the QSR channel with 31.7%. Supported by tourism, the travel channel recorded the highest CAGR at 7.6% during 2019-24. During 2024-29, the foodservice profit sector will register a value CAGR of 3.3%. The number of transactions will register a CAGR of 1.1%, and the number of outlets, a CAGR of 0.3%. Tourism will continue to contribute to the profit sector’s value growth.
