Course overview
This interactive two-day course is designed to equip professionals in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, and animal health industries with the skills and confidence to deliver training that meets regulatory expectations and supports inspection readiness.
Through a blend of interactive discussions, exercises and practical examples, participants will explore structured approaches to planning, designing, and delivering effective training across both face-to-face and virtual environments. The course places particular emphasis on how training systems, documentation and delivery are assessed during inspections, and how to demonstrate compliance in practice.
A dedicated session also introduces the emerging role of AI in training, highlighting how it can be used to support content development, assessment and analytics while maintaining appropriate governance and compliance.

Speakers
Laura Brown
Dr Laura Brown is a management consultant and psychologist in the highly regulated pharmaceutical and legal industries, where she has worked with numerous leading organisations including Cranfield School of Management and most of the top 20 pharma/biotechnology companies.
She is also the Course Director of a pharmaceutical MSc at the University of Cardiff. Besides a PhD and an MBA, Laura also has a degree in psychology and is co-author of several management books including ‘Developing the Individual’.
