Peru’s copper production grew by 1.2% in 2025 to reach 2.76 million tonnes (kt). Output was supported by higher copper ore grades and stable ore supply from the Chalcobamba and Ferrobamba pits at Las Bambas mine, increased processing capacity following expansions at the Toromocho project, Quellaveco reaching its design capacity and the continued ramp-up of production across the operations.
