Life Cycle Assessment of Waste and Water Systems covers all essential information for the environmental accounting of major waste, water and hydrogen systems using the approach of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The book helps you to quickly learn, understand and apply the standardized approach with major issues related to LCA. By focusing on major waste and water, it allows you to get familiar with LCAs of the most commonly encountered systems and technologies for circular economy development. This book provides systematic and representative databases on the energy, materials and emissions of the technologies, and serves as a one-stop source to facilitate conducting preliminary LCA studies. The practical implementation and systematic presentation of LCA principles followed by comparative illustrations makes the book an indispensable source for academics, students, scientists, engineers, technicians, investors, and policymakers.
