He has made substantial scholarly contributions through research and review publications, book chapters, and edited volumes in pharmaceutical sciences. Actively engaged in postgraduate and doctoral mentoring, he supports research training in advanced drug delivery and formulation science. Devesh U. Kapoor Professor, Dr. Dayaram Patel Pharmacy College, Bardoli, Gujarat, India. Dr. Devesh U. Dr. Abdullah AlAsmari was graduated from King Saud University (KSU) with a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2011. In 2013, Dr. AlAsmari joined Auburn University (AU), Harrison School of Pharmacy department of Drug Discovery and Development (DDD) to pursue his PhD under supervision of Dr. Jianzhong Shen and Dr. Amin. In 2017, Dr. AlAsmari returned to KSU with PhD degree and became an assistant professor in the department of Pharmacology & Toxicology. Now he has been promoted as Associate Professor and serving as Vice Dean for Programs and Initiatives at Graduate School at KSU. He is currently working on different funded projects, which aim to induce cardioprotection against different mechanisms that can induce cardiac damage. His research area includes: Cardiovascular Diseases, Mechanisms of cardiotoxicity induced by different anti-cancer drugs. Dr Abdullah has published more than 150 articles in different reputed and peer reviewed journals and several book chapters.
