Aqeel Shakir Mahmood University of Bagdad, Iraq. Dr. Aqeel Shakir Mahmood, MBChB, FICMS, CABS, FRCS, MRCS, is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad. Renowned for his groundbreaking research, Dr. Mahmood has significantly influenced surgical practice and patient outcomes. His scholarly contributions are widely recognized. His research journey began in 1999 at Al-Rasheed Military Teaching Hospital, focusing on innovative surgical procedures for liver hydatid cysts. His work on Omentoplasty has notably improved patient outcomes. As Director of the National Center for Early Detection of Cancer, he established Iraq's first Department of Cancer Research. Dr. Mahmood leads international research initiatives on breast cancer in Iraq, Lebanon, and Egypt. His legacy extends beyond research, as he mentors future medical professionals, shaping the future of surgical practice. Hashim Talib Hashim University of Bagdad, Iraq. Dr. Hasim is a medical graduate of the University of Baghdad, College of Medicine, earning the MBChB degree. He is a clinical researcher with a focus on medicine and surgery, passionately pursuing advances in the surgical sciences. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals and serves as a reviewer for numerous specialized publications. Early in his career he trained at Baghdad Medical City, and he presently practices as a resident physician at Al-Nasiriyah Teaching Hospital. He also serves as the head of the Research Department at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, College of Medicine in Karbala. Dr. Hasim has participated in and presented his work at many conferences and congresses both in Iraq and abroad, and has delivered numerous workshops across the region. He contributes as an editor for several books and has developed a substantial portfolio of research papers and studies. Sadeer Alzubaidi Mayo Clinic, AZ, USA. Dr. Sadeer Alzubaidi received his medical degree from the University of Baghdad School of Medicine in 1998. Dr. Alzubaidi did a preliminary surgery at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and a diagnostic radiology residency at Wayne State University. Subsequently, he did an Interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, specializing in vascular and interventional radiology. Currently, he is a Consultant in the Department of Radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, and an Associate Professor of Radiology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.
