Renren Bai, Ph.D., is a Professor and the Director of the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the School of Pharmacy, Hangzhou Normal University. He earned his B.S. degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering and his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from China Pharmaceutical University before completing a postdoctoral training at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Bai is a Youth Member of the Zhejiang Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Antibiotics Committee and an Expert Member of the China Translators Association. He serves on the editorial boards of Medicinal Research Reviews and BMC Medical Education. His research primarily focuses on the discovery of anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and anti-dermatological drug candidates, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in drug discovery and structural modifications of natural active products.
