Mahmood S. Choudhery Associate Professor, University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Dr. Mahmood S. Choudhery is a Tenured Associate Professor at the University of Health Sciences, Lahore, with a background in stem cell biology. He earned his Ph.D. from the National Center of Excellence in Molecular Biology and conducted further stem cell related research at the University of Arizona, USA. His career includes significant roles at King Edward Medical University, where he taught and led research in the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Laboratory. Dr. Choudhery specializes in stem cell-based regenerative therapies and gene editing, focusing on the clinical applications of mesenchymal stem cells. Under his guidance, several clinical trials using stem cells have been successfully completed and published. He serves as an editorial board member for several international journals and has published extensively on stem cells. His current projects aim to advance the understanding and application of stem cell research, translating these findings into clinical practices for better therapeutic outcomes. Ruhma Mahmood Senior Research Officer, Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.Dr. Ruhma Mahmood completed her PhD in Molecular Biology, focusing on Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, at the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2013. She later joined the University of Health Sciences as an Assistant Professor. Currently, she is a Senior Research Officer at Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore, where she provides stem cell-based therapy for physically and mentally challenged children. She has published several stem cell articles in leading international high-impact journals.
Taqdees Arif Research Scientist, University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.Ms. Taqdees Arif holds a BS in Biotechnology and an MPhil in Molecular Pathology and Genomics. Through her cell biology courses and practical trianing, she gained a solid understanding of stem cell biology, from fundamental concepts to advanced research. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD at the University of Health Sciences. She is exploring therapeutic potential of stem cells and gene editing, seeking innovative solutions for regenerative medicine. She has published articles on various aspects of cell and molecular biology, in internationally recognized journals.
