Swagat Kumar Das is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Odisha University of Technology and Research, (Formerly College of Engineering and Technology), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He obtained his PhD from Ravenshaw University, Odisha, India. He is a Fellow recipient of Eurasian Academy of Environmental Sciences (FEAES) and Society of Innovative Educationalist; Scientific Research Professional (FSIESRP). Dr Das has more than 14 years of research and teaching experience. He has published more than 30 publications in various National and International journals, 12 book chapters, and was awarded with one patent. His major research interests and areas include bioactive phytopharmaceuticals, antioxidant, antidiabetic potential of mangrove-based phytochemicals, etc. He has edited 3 books and co-authored 3 practical books with reputed publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Apple Academic Press, I.K. International.

Supriya Dash, is a faculty in the Department of Biotechnology at Odisha University of Technology and Research, (Formerly College of Engineering and Technology), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. She carried out her research work from Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (CIFA), Bhubaneswar, a premiere institute of ICAR as a research fellow. She obtained her PhD degree from Utkal University in the year 2008 on the topic fish immunology. She has more than seven years of teaching experience in the field of Biotechnology and more than 20 research publications in various reputed peer reviewed international and national journals. She has done extensive work in the field of fish immunology and has one patent to her credit on 'Male specific protein in fish.' She has published more than 30 publications in various national and international journals, 15 book chapters, and one book.

Hrudayanath Thatoi Professor and Director, Center for Industrial Biotechnology Research (CIBR), Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) University, India.

Prof. H.N Thatoi is serving as the Director of Center for Industrial Biotechnology Research (CIBR) at Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) University. Prior to that he served as a Professor in the Department of Biotechnology of Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University. He has obtained his MSc, MPhil, and PhD in Botany from Utkal University. His major research interests and areas include sustainable production of renewable energy, mushroom diversity and bioactivity, Bioremediation, Structural and Computational biology, Nanotechnology, etc. To date, he is credited with the publication of 25 books and more than 326 research papers in national and international journals, proceedings of conferences and book chapters, and has been awarded with two patents. He serves as member of several scientific societies and editorial boards of reputable national and international journals. Dr. Thatoi is a Functional Area Expert in Ecology and Biodiversity and is accredited by QCI, NABET, MoEF, Govt. of India.
