He has received his M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. He was awarded Prof. GB Behera Best PhD thesis award under the banner of Orissa chemical society, India. His research experience as well as research interests, lies in graphene, carbon nanotubes and ceramic based polymer nanocomposites synthesis and Characterization for advanced energy storage applications. He is a life member of Orissa Chemical Society.

His research interest is mainly focused on the synthesis, characterization, and property investigations of novel polymer nanocomposites reinforced with different nanofillers, including various nanomaterials including carbon-based materials such as carbon black, carbon nanotubes, graphene and its derivatives, and MXenes for energy storage, energy harvesting, gas sensing, EMI shielding and high-k dielectric applications.
