Zhengru Ren School of Ocean and Civil Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China.Dr. Zhengru Ren is an Associate Professor in the School of Ocean and Civil Engineering, at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He was previously Assistant Professor at the Institute for Ocean Engineering, Tsinghua University, where he was leader of the Intelligent Ocean Engineering research group. His research interests are within guidance, navigation, control theory of marine surface vessels, onboard equipment, marine operations, offshore wind energy, and digital twin. In 2021, he received the National Science Foundation for Excellent Young Scholars (Overseas). Dr. Ren has authored over 50 scientific papers in international journals and conferences.
